And you all thought Wheelbite was an amateur operation..? Ha! We’re professionals and we run with professionals – Champions even!
OG Belgian ripper Julian Dykmans was kind enough to take our request seriously and deliver an amazing BITE SIZE interview with photos! I don’t know how we’re going to top this one…

First skateboard?
Vision Psycho Stick, Gullwing trucks and Slammer wheels. That thing was super fast because somehow I got super soft wheels.

First real slam?
Probably doing downhills in my neighbourhood in La Hulpe. Good old pizzas…
Trying something was the big double set at the supermarket “Rob” in Woluwe. Thomas and I tried to ollie it and both got served. Heel bruise and one month in the summer no skating. Harsh.

First kiss?
12 years old with Sandra in Braine l’Alleud during school mid day break. We walked away from school kinda nervous for 10 minutes. At the edge of a tiny forest, we stopped, looked at each other for 5 seconds then I said “t’es vraiment mignonne”.

Last thing you ate / drank?
Tortellini’s with cheese inside with a tomato ricotta cheese sauce. Sounds amazing but it’s all made by others…

That song that Gravette skates on for his mixed part Thrasher/Creature videos. Don’t know the song but since I am a bit of a geek I will find out for you. Flower Traveling Band.

Last video you watched?
Watched “Bacon Skateboards – Unheard” skate video which was good and the super good movie “Moon” from Duncan Jones. Really amazing movie.

Last purchase?
I bought my first digital photo camera. Panasonic LX3. It’s nice because it’s all manual.

Best spots in Brussels?
The ride from Mont des Arts till Brussels North station.

Best spots outside of Brussels?
Skatepark of Namur !

I always say Van Damme and Technotronic. People don’t really know Jacques Brel for instance…

Shit. Can I elude the question by choosing a girl skater. Jessee Van Roechoedt is cute and has a brain.
